About

I’m an instructional designer who believes learning should be clear, applied, and made to stick.

My strength? Turning dry content and information overload into effective learning experiences—whether I’m designing a facilitator-led workshop, an online course module, or crafting a workbook to support it. Think less “snoozefest,” more “aha!” moment.

I’ve clocked plenty of hours turning jargon into clarity and coaxing insights from even the busiest subject matter experts.

In recent years, I’ve collaborated with teams at:
Meta · Nova Scotia Health · Correctional Service Canada · RECO · CMHC
(Projects delivered through GP Strategies and Calian—yes, I play well with others.)

The Long and Winding Road (to Instructional Design)

I started out in steel-toed boots as a mechanical engineer in manufacturing—and somehow ended up here: a humor-loving instructional designer and writer on a mission to lighten up business (and the world) with clearer, more engaging learning experiences.

Somewhere along the way, I remembered one of my early dreams: to be a cartoonist. That love of laughter and drawing now shows up whenever I can add fun visuals to my work.

Let's Work Together

These days, I help clients build learning experiences—plus the lessons, exercises, questions, and resource materials that go with them.

I specialize in:

  • Instructional design – for courses, workshops, webinars, and challenges
  • Workbooks, guides, and online resources – content that supports action, not just reading
  • Email courses and self-paced learning – structured, story-driven, and not at all boring

Whether you need a full course designed or revamped, a creative collaborator for your project, or dry material transformed into engaging content, I’m here for it.
